This 5K event was held in Lake Travis Convention Center and it included a challenging, yet entertaining race that included water slides, Tarzan ropes, even giant wrecking balls and so much more. The Iron Spikes volunteered by providing water to those competing in the race as well as helping the R.O.C Race Crew with maintaing stations and driving volunteers to different obstacles throughout the course. The 5K was a smashing success and a lot of fun for everyone who came out this weekend.

Spring 2013 Alumni Weekend

Texas Iron Spikes recently celebrated another successful alumni weekend. Doing things a little differently this year, alumni weekend was held in collaboration with the annual Texas Iron Spikes Spring Classic softball tournament. This gave alumni the opportunity to form teams and compete in the tournament. Additionally, actives and alumni both participated in a bar tab at The Rattle Inn after the tournament, and a few rounds of golf the next day. Thanks to all the alumni who showed up and helped to make this weekend a huge success!

Actives and alumni enjoy the bar tab at The Rattle Inn on east 6th Street.
