This past weekend, several Iron Spikes volunteered for the Austin Marathon. Everyone arrived at 5:30 AM to help set up water stations for the event, and then handed out water to the runners at the 1.75 mile mark. It was a truly amazing and inspiring experience to be able to assist those who had trained so hard, many of whom were running in memory of a loved one. The runners themselves could not have been nicer, as many yelled a "Thanks!" as they ran by. According to those actives in attendance, this was one of the best service events that had ever been to. Also, we would like to congratulate our own Nick Enriquez for finishing the Austin Half-Marathon!
